The Town of Prescott Valley will hold an informational meeting Wednesday, about their stormwater program, and the pending implementation of a new stormwater fee.


According to the town, the program provides regulations and resources to help reduce contamination as stormwater travels through drains and soaks into the ground.The Town Council recently approved a stormwater fee of $3 per residence to help maintain infrastructure, mitigate flooding and enhance stormwater recharge, which goes into effect in February.


Wednesday’s open house will be held at the Police Department’s training room, from 4:00 to 5:30pm; and residents will be able to get information, ask questions and share input.For more information, contact the city Utilities department.
