Yavapai County Sheriff Urges Safety After Three Fatal Recreational Vehicle Accidents

Yavapai County has witnessed three fatal recreational vehicle accidents since last Thursday, prompting Sheriff David Rhodes to urge the use of proper safety equipment. The incidents include a dirt bike accident on Crown King Road where the rider suffered fatal injuries after falling off the road, an ATV crash on Bumble Bee Road where a rider was ejected and killed due to not wearing a restraint, and a side-by-side rollover on Senator Highway where the driver died after being pinned under the vehicle without a helmet or seatbelt. Sheriff Rhodes emphasized the importance of safety equipment. Yavapai County Sheriff David Rhodes - "This is a common occurrence in which people fail to use the proper safety equipment. We need you to wear your helmets, we need you to wear your seatbelts, we need you to ride and wear your goggles, and we need you to drive safely. Go out, ride your recreational vehicles. things that you want to do, but do it safely so that you can come home to your families."
