A Yavapai County Superior Court jury convicted a Prescott man of ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor last Friday.

According to the County Attorney’s Office, in October 2022, the girlfriend of 66-year-old Stanley Wilburn Smith found a large number of sexually explicit images of children on his phone, and called the police.

Smith faces a minimum sentence of 100 years in prison, based on the young ages of the children in some of the images; and he will be sentenced in late March.
