Driver shortage forces shutdown of one Mountain View Prep bus route in Cottonwood

January 29, 2024

The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District has notified families of Mountain View Preparatory students that due to a driver shortage, the Cactus Mouse school bus route will not run, until further notice.

The route primarily covers the neighborhoods west and southwest of Mingus Union High School, in addition to Zellner Lane; and the district asks parents to make other arrangements for their children’s transportation this week. The district’s transportation department will inform families of any updates as they become available.
