Coconino County closes segment of Lake Mary Rd., two others due to winter weather

February 6, 2024

Coconino County has closed a seven-mile stretch of Lake Mary Road, and two others, as of 1pm today, due to hazardous conditions; and to keep County snowplows available for other roads.

The closure will be in effect between the north and south entrances of Mormon Lake, with traffic detoured along West Side Mormon Lake Road.

The County will also close Stoneman Lake Road between Lake Mary and I-17; as well as Perkinsville Road, several miles south of Williams, at White Horse Road, until weather conditions improve.

Remember that the County’s winter parking ordinance prohibits parking along County-maintained rights-of-way through April 1st.
