3-vehicle collision on SR 89 in Chino Valley

A three-vehicle collision in Chino Valley blocked traffic on Highway 89 Wednesday morning.


According to Chino Valley Police, the driver of a northbound pickup truck tried to turn left on a yellow light at Road 2 South, and hit a minivan going through the intersection from the opposite direction. The pickup then spun and hit a car that was stopped for the red light on Road 2 South.


Fortunately, none of the drivers suffered serious injuries, and they were treated at the scene and released.
