Yavapai County will hold their first Citizen Academy since the COVID-19 pandemic this spring, giving residents a chance to learn more about the framework, operations and services of the county government and departments.

The free program will meet each Tuesday evening from March 12th through April 30th at the County offices in Cottonwood; and space is limited to 20 attendees. The county notes that the classes are not intended for political debates, but rather to encourage questions and facilitate learning.

Registration opens this coming Monday; and you can find a news release with a link at yavapaiaz.gov.
