The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night in Doney Park, just north of Flagstaff.
According to CCSO, deputies responded to the scene shortly after 11:30pm, and found two people with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the other was treated at Flagstaff Medical Center and later released.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no ongoing danger; and will release more details as they become available.
