The Yavapai County Public Works Department will hold a community cleanup in Mayer over the next two weekends.

Officials encourage residents to clean up around your property prior to peak fire season; and from April 11-13, then 18-20 they will accept yard trimmings, furniture, household appliances, bagged trash, unmounted tires and automotive batteries free of charge; at the Yard next to the Mayer Transfer station on Antelope Creek Road.

The program is only for residential use.
