The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a Rimrock man who was apparently the victim of a random tractor incident.

The victim’s neighbor called 911 on Sunday after he was unable to reach the victim by phone or text for some time. He went to the man’s property and found him deceased, with extensive injuries caused when he was apparently pinned against a fence and partially under the rear tire of a tractor.

Responding deputies found tools on the ground and under the man’s body, indicating he was likely working on the tractor at the time of the accident.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.
