Prescott residents can review new flood hazard maps at April 1 Open House

Updated Prescott Flood Hazard Map

March 28, 2024

The City of Prescott will host an open house on Monday regarding a recent update to flood hazard maps for the community.

The open house will be held at the Rowle Simmons Community Center on Rosser Street from 4 to 7 p.m.; and residents will be able to review and discuss the preliminary maps, look up their address to see how their flood risk may have changed, and speak with mapping and flood insurance specialists.

You can also see the maps and check your property online, at prescott-az.gov/floodmap.

There will be a 90-day public appeal period for property owners to formally submit comments or a data-based appeal, before the maps are finalized and any new flood insurance and building requirements take effect.
