Prescott NF responding to wildfire near Cleator

UPDATE:

The Prospect Fire received light rain, and the blaze was contained at between 15 and 20 acres. Investigators have determined that it was human-caused.

Prescott National Forest crews responded to a wildfire southwest of Cordes Junction on Wednesday.


According to the Forest, the Prospect Fire had burned about five acres of grass and brush near Cleator, as of noon, with air and ground personnel responding. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
