MATFORCE to hold Mental Health First Aid Training March 23

Yavapai County’s MATFORCE coalition is still accepting registrations for a Mental Health First Aid training that will be held in Prescott Valley on Saturday, March 23.


The training teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults; with steps including risk assessment for possible harm or suicide; nonjudgmental listening; and encouraging self- and professional help, among others.
