Long Canyon Trailhead in Sedona to close on Feb. 14

February 13, 2024

The Coconino National Forest advises the public that the parking lot at the Long Canyon trailhead in Sedona will be closed Wednesday, as crews place boulders around the lot to define parking and protect natural resources.

Forest officials have become concerned about the loss of vegetation and the expansion of bare soil areas; and the trailhead will reopen once work has been completed later in the day.
