I-17 restrictions from SR 169 to Orme/Dugas Rds., Overnight blasting work to resume

January 29, 2024

ADOT will enact daytime lane restrictions on southbound I-17, between State Route 169 and Orme and Dugas Roads, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The highway will be reduced to one lane through the work zone, from 6:00am to 4:30pm each day, so that crews can conduct asphalt core drilling for a future road project.

ADOT will also resume nightly blasting work on the I-17 Improvement Project this week.

The highway will be closed in both directions between Sunset Point and Coldwater Road from 10:00 to 11:00pm Tuesday through Thursday nights. Overnight lane restrictions will also be in place each night this week, from Sunset Point to Anthem; with Bumble Bee Road closed nightly beneath I-17.
