Fossil Creek Rd. closed due to recent rains

The Coconino National Forest advises the public that Fossil Creek Road has been closed, due to significant amounts of rain.
Officials say there is standing water on parts of the road, with some spots requiring four-wheel drive. Based on the saturation of the roadway, they say the closure may extend through Friday morning; and if you have a reservation, or questions, you can call the Fossil Creek Hotline at
