March 27, 2024

Copper Canyon personnel and Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a rollover on I-17, north of the Sedona exit, on Tuesday afternoon.

DPS says an SUV left the roadway near milepost 300, crashed into the hillside and rolled four or five times. The driver managed to get himself out; and he was treated at the scene, then taken by ground ambulance to Verde Valley Medical Center.

Investigators did not have any initial information about the cause of the crash.
