Domestic violence incident closes I-17 near Yavapai-Maricopa County line

Law enforcement response to a domestic violence incident closed southbound I-17 near the Yavapai-Maricopa County line for about an hour Tuesday night.


According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to a shots-fired call around 6:30 p.m.; and after their initial investigation they arrested one person, with another taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.


Investigators have not released any further details at this time.
