The City of Flagstaff has begun pre-construction work on a project to rebuild the access road to the Cinder Lake Landfill.

Drivers should exercise caution as survey crews are on-site this week, with personnel also removing signs and fencing along the road. Once construction begins, drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes, weekdays; and the road will be closed each Sunday in April.

The project will also include stormwater enhancements, and is scheduled for completion this coming September. The City will post weekly updates at flagstaff.az.gov/4931.
