Central Arizona Fire and Medical and Prescott Fire personnel responded to a Hazmat incident at a Chino Valley fast food restaurant last Friday.

According to CAFMA, several employees at the Sonic Drive-In reported feeling ill, and fire personnel discovered there was a carbon dioxide leak in the building. Medical personnel assessed the employees, and none of them required hospitalization.

Carbon dioxide is commonly used in carbonated beverage systems.
