Blasting work continues on I-17 Improvement Project

February 13, 2024

ADOT has planned more rock blasting on the I-17 Improvement Project this week.

The highway will again be closed in both directions between Sunset Point and Coldwater Road from 10pm to 11pm, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Drivers should expect significant delays, and backups of about two miles.

Lane restrictions will also be in place each night, at various spots from Sunset Point to Anthem; and Bumble Bee Rd. will still be closed nightly underneath the interstate for bridge work.
