The Arizona Department of Transportation is again promoting the importance of safe driving around snowplows, with their annual Name-A-Snowplow contest.
The department operates 200 plows across the state, with three to be named in this year’s contest. Residents can submit their suggestions at azdot.gov/NameAPlow until Thursday, January 25th.
Remember that if you encounter a plow during a storm, slow down and give the plow extra room, staying at least four car-lengths behind; and never try to pass.
