ADOT continues blasting work on I-17 Improvement Project; seeking public input on project

February 5, 2024

ADOT has planned more controlled rock blasting work on the I-17 Improvement Project, this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The highway will be closed in both directions between Sunset Point and Coldwater Road from 10-11pm each night; with lane restrictions in place from 7pm to 7am Monday through Friday nights between Sunset Point to New River.

ADOT is asking for public feedback about the project, and you can find a link to an anonymous Construction Operations survey at improvingi17.com until February 15th. They will use responses to determine how to improve construction activities and communication efforts.
