Winter weather to return Thursday

January 31, 2024

The National Weather Service says the current warm weather will shift back to wintry conditions once again, beginning Thursday.

They expect more rain or snow, and gusty winds between 30 and 40 miles per hour, from late Thursday afternoon through Friday. The Flagstaff area could see between four and six inches of snow; and you can get the latest updates at weather.gov/fgz.

An atmospheric river event will also bring a higher-than-normal chance of more precipitation to the southwest next week.
