Central Arizona Fire & Medical crews responded to a gas leak at a home in the Loos Drive area Friday.

According to CAFMA, an unoccupied pickup truck rolled down a driveway and onto another property, hitting a gas meter and causing a significant leak. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, and the family in the affected home safely evacuated.

Fire crews shut off the broken gas line and worked with UniSource to secure the damaged meter. They then had to use extrication tools to lift the truck up off the gas line so that it could be removed from the property.
