The City of Prescott will conduct prescribed burns in the Mission Hills area, just east of Willow Creek Road, between Wednesday and Friday.

The City’s Forestry Crew has been removing overgrown vegetation from the site to protect water tanks, and cell phone and radio towers; and reduce wildfire risk for nearby homes.

The specific timing of the burns will be dependent on weather and other factors; and smoke may be visible from around the Prescott area.
