Detectives with Yavapai County’s Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking taskforce arrested a suspected drug dealer in the Prescott area Monday night.

Officials say detectives had developed information that the 45-year-old man was selling fentanyl out of his home in southeast Prescott. They obtained search warrants for the suspect’s home and vehicle, and took him into custody after a traffic stop.

Investigators found about 2,000 fentanyl pills in a safe inside his home, with more of the drug throughout the house. They also found methamphetamine, marijuana, mushrooms, and liquid codeine; along with multiple guns.

The suspect was charged with drug sales and prohibited weapon possession.
