Missing elderly woman found near Mingus Mountain

Cottonwood-area emergency crews located a missing elderly woman near Mingus Mountain on Saturday.
The 80-year-old, who has dementia, had been reported missing on Friday, with the Cottonwood Police Department issuing a Silver Alert. On Saturday afternoon, the woman was found off of Forest Road 493, and Verde Valley Fire personnel assisted in transporting the patient out of the area.
