An employee of Camp Verde Elementary School was arrested earlier this month after she reportedly admitted to using a THC vape cartridge on campus.

The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office says that on February 15th, school staff smelled the odor of marijuana on the 42-year-old woman, and administrators immediately confronted her and contacted law enforcement.

The woman told deputies she had used a vape cartridge in a school bathroom, to aid a medical condition; and she was charged with possession of a narcotic in a school zone.
