Arizona Public Service advises residents of the Mountainaire and Kachina Village communities that they will be conducting drone patrols along power lines on Tuesday.

Beginning at 8 a.m., APS will be flying drones relatively low along their lines and easements to identify any maintenance work needed in advance of the spring and summer wildfire season. The company works year-round to create defensible space around power poles and substations by removing overgrown brush and vegetation.
